Wow, another amazingly full day. Dave, Sarah, Robert, Ben, Chris, and I spent the day landscaping our yard to make it mulch-erific! This involved a lot of raking and a lot of getting dirty. Thanks to our dear friends who came out and helped us!! Cindy also took Lucy for me for a few hours this afternoon while I cleaned out, packed stuff, and rearranged her room to look spaciously wonderful. It's a pity we didn't have it that way all along, for it's truly sweet to look at!
Meanwhile, on the job search front, Dave now has FOUR phone interviews lined up in the next 3 days, with more on the horizon! Goodness gracious, it's getting harder to keep names & states & churches all straight in our heads, so our handy job search bulletin board is filling up quickly with notecards and reminders. Tomorrow he talks with a church in Minneapolis (2nd interview) at 2, then another at 4 (that one's just outside of St. Louis). On Friday, he has a 2:00 with a church near Columbus, OH, and on Saturday morning at 11, he has one lined up with another church in Columbus. Even just writing this paragraph was confusing; I had to consult a calendar and our bulletin board to keep the facts straight.
We know we are in God's hands. Please keep praying for us, especially for Dave, who is simply outstanding in handling all this work and pressure. I am soooooooooooooooo blessed! I love you, Dave!
