Update on the Job-Search Front...

Dave's been working really hard in his job-search process. He has sent out his resume portfolio to over 40 churches in the past couple of weeks. Several have replied positively. He had a promising phone interview on Friday morning with the pastor of a church near Columbus, Ohio. We are most excited about that one. He had another not-so-promising phone interview with a church search committee (via conference call) last night (in Michigan). Many more churches have shown interest and are "in process". Finding a job in ministry can take awhile, mainly because both sides are praying a lot and taking it slowly. And of course, there is more than one person making the decision on who to hire. Throughout it all, Dave and I both feel tremendous peace in knowing that God has it all lined up for us, and we simply need to trust him daily. I am really proud of Dave. He knows what he desires for ministry and we are prayerful that God is preparing a place that needs him too. I'll keep you all posted!
