The Premature Going Away Party

Our wonderful Richmond friends planned a really fun night for us to celebrate our then-upcoming move (everyone, including us, thought we were headed to Kansas in a matter of days). Laurie, me, Chrissy, & Jessica
We celebrated with the most ambivalently decorated cake ever specially ordered from a bakery (hence the coordinating facial expressions above - classic!) You can even see the two randomly placed chocolate chips there next to the "w". It was delicious, though!
We were given the most wonderful, creative going-away gift ever: a jigsaw puzzle of a collage of pictures of us with our friends. This is the completed puzzle. What can you find in there? We like the chalice of strawberries, ourselves.
We were taken to dinner at Bennigans (a very old location that we fondly call "Ghett-igans"), where Nate ordered the Monte Cristo with glee and Rob looked on, disbelievingly. See Lucy at the head of the table?
Dave with Jonathan, Nate, & Rob. After dinner, we played an awesome round of Loaded Questions, where the phrase "crop dusting" was the ongoing joke of the night. Bonus points if you know the underlying meaning.
Thank you friends, for a great time! We didn't end up moving just yet, but it was fun to think we were!

so here's what i've been doing...
