Lucy has recently started carrying one of my purses around.Lucy can say "baby", and she says it often. She points to my belly, her belly, and her daddy's belly and says, "baby"! We're doing our best to prepare her young mind for another family addition. She turned 16 months yesterday, can you believe it?
We have been enjoying some fantastic new changes that God's brought into our lives. Since it's somewhat of a sensitive nature right now, we're choosing not to broadcast it on our blogs, but I created a newsletter and mailed it out today to keep you informed. Check your mailboxes (the real ones!) Can you believe the .41 cent postage rate? "You're killing me, Smalls!"
We had a great time at Jonathan & Chrissy's going away dinner last week. Gotta love the Cheeb! Lucy loved it since there was literally a baby at every single table. She was heard repeating the word "baby" over and over again throughout the meal. What a flirt! We also enjoyed learning new and useless words in a riveting game of Balderdash with J, C, Rob, Jessica, Nate, & Laurie later that night.
Thanks to Sandy for throwing me a baby shower last weekend. It was a really nice time to enjoy the company of my friends from Christ Community Church. We received some adorable things for our son. How I can't wait to meet him!
We are looking forward to July, when our lives begin picking up like crazy, as our son will arrive and many family members will be visiting us throughout the month. June is the calm before the craziness!
