Fun Baby Gifts

Recently we've received some really fun things for our children (how fun to write that in the plural!)
We have the picture book "Who Loves Baby" already for Lucy, and it's filled with photographs of her with her grandparents, aunts, & uncles. We like this because none of them live near her, so as she grows, she'll have a visual to remember them between visits. (Some people have looked at the book and said, "Where are you & Dave? Don't you love her too?" with a laugh. Well, she sees us every day.) Anyway, we received another one (this time in blue & green!) for our son. I can't wait to fill it with pictures of him with the same family members. Hopefully it won't take too long to acquire the photos.
We were also given the Rockabye Baby album (pictured) this week. It's crazy-cool! Really, it's so funny to hear xylophones and other mellow instruments play an instrumental version of "Sunday Bloody Sunday" for our babies to enjoy. But it's great. Lullabye music that the parents dig too! (I just googled this line of cd's and it's really incredible how many different ones are available. They make great gifts for any rock-loving parent!) All that we need now is an infant-sized pair of Vans, which would complement the Rockabye Baby Ramones edition.

so here's what i've been doing...
