Dave and I were married four years ago on June 29. I was looking through the pictures the other day and got a little sentimental about it. It was a gorgeous, warm day. The wedding was held at Dave's alma mater, Eastern University, outside of Philadelphia. The ceremony was short but sweet and the reception fun and laid back. Some memories that stick out (aside from the great time it was overall): my bridesmaid Abby pestering me to eat something during the reception (she was very concerned about it, enough to bring me a plateful of food), and as we left at the end, I had a handful of birdseed thrown into my mouth unintentionally by Dave's groomsman Tony. I also remember that on the way to Eastern that morning, Dave stopped at 7-11 to get us some famous Philly soft pretzels. As we left the store, I shouted out, "We're getting married today!" to the clerk.
Many of my long-distance friends & family were not able to attend, so I created a small slide show below of some pictoral highlights. It was a fantastic day. And being married to Dave is the best. He is endlessly giving, patient, and kind. He is my spiritual accountability partner, my best friend, and the love of my life. I can't imagine ever being without him. I love you sweetie!!
