We took several walks, and Eli enjoyed the snugli with Daddy. He also got to wear a cute and functional hat to protect his baby skin from the sun (courtesy of Uncle Bob!). If you look closely, it's a Phillies hat. The brim popped up automatically, and I couldn't help but call him "K-Fed" a couple of times (and apologize for insulting him).

Lucy and me goofing with the camera.

We put a pair of my socks on her feet last night and she loved walking around in them. I think she went to bed with them still on.

We also enjoyed our church's
50th Anniversary celebration dinner. It was really cool to see our church's history in a wonderful video presentation, and it heightened my respect for the community of which we're now a part. Here's Dave looking all snazzy for dinner. This morning, one of the youth moms said she was happy to see Dave looking "normal" again (in his casual duds); his being dressed up kinda freaked her out (good thing he didn't wear a tie). I've noticed that whenever Dave dresses up, people often respond to him in that way. :) In a little while, we're going to the all-church picnic. I'm sure more pics will turn up after that!
