This is the Butcher family: Blaine, Judah, & Abigail. Abby is one of my best friends of all time (we met as high school freshmen). This wonderful family is working very hard to develop a team of supporters to help send them to Paris, France to be full-time missionaries there.Blaine & Abby met at Dallas Theological Seminary and married in 2003. Judah came along last November. Let me tell you a little about them. Abby is very fun and witty. She has a flair for the dramatic. She loves painting, dance, acting, writing, singing, doing anything creative. She is also the most sincere person you'll ever meet. When you talk with her, she'll look you in the eye, give you her complete attention, and respond in thoughtful ways that make you feel like you're the most important person in the world. I guess you could say she values people. She also values her faith in Jesus Christ.
I only met Blaine once but liked him immediately. He's perfect for her. I always knew God had someone in mind for Abby who would cherish every wonderful quirk in her, and he does, I witnessed it when I saw them together. Together, they love Jesus and want to serve the people of France with passion, compassion, and their combined creative gifts. Their vision for ministry is to creatively communicate the gospel to start churches through new technologies and meaningful relationships.
