It was Lucy's first Fourth of July! To start the day, we went to Crump Park for the free fesitivites. There was kettle corn, bluegrass music, a reading of the Declaration, and even Uncle Sam on stilts! I felt very American.
Next up was the Richmond Braves game, versus some Canadian team I can't remember. We won, 1-0, in what was quite possibly the world's most uneventful minor league game. But the crowd was happy (at least the semi-drunk guys in front of us), and we had fun. Lucy was so good!
