I just finished my summer darkroom photography class. It was mainly technical stuff - how to use the darkroom equipment and chemicals - but I approached it creatively. My teacher was knowledgeable and very critical (in a constructive sense). He challenged me in improving my technique and taught me some pretty cool stuff. There was also a healthy sense of rebellion on my part, as I did not always follow his advice. It was so much fun. I just wish this hobby wasn't so dang expensive!
