(the shades before they went missing)
One of the downsides of my recent trip away was the loss of my sunglasses. I had had the same pair of black shades (seen a few posts below in a picture) for over a year, which is some kind of record for me. Not two weeks ago, I said to Dave, "I think it's time for a new pair of shades babe!" And I found a functional pair at Target for the low low price of $5.99 - me likey!! So while visiting my folks, we stopped in a McDonalds to use the restroom, where I hung up my shades on the hook on the door. I left and forgot them, but remembered them as soon as I walked outside. So I went back in for them and they were gone. In two minutes' time! I checked with the cashiers & manager to see if anyone had turned anything in. Nope. Gone! What kind of sicko sees someone's sunglasses in a bathroom and just takes them? Have they no concern for germs? Have they no taste, to see that the shades were merely $5.99? It really ticked me off. My mom, bless her, gave me a pair she had, brand new. She told me she paid $2.50 for them on clearance. I guess it runs in the family. :)
