Last weekend Dave's youth group went to Lake Anna for tubing, water skiing, and hanging out. Lucy and I decided to accompany them. It was a blast to ride out on the boat and enjoy summertime on the water. This is the house we plan to buy.
Just kidding! But it was one of many unbelievably gorgeous homes on the water.

Lucy and me outside the boathouse. We took her out for one boat ride in the evening. She was very brave, in that it was not her favorite thing. But she didn't cry.
Here's Rob with Dave. He really is that tall. I never noticed their incredible height difference but Dave looks really short here! Rob, incidentally, is 6'5 or something (Rob can correct me on this; after all, he is thattallguy).
These are the nice people who let our group invade their lakehouse, Jim & Karen Baugher. They are awesome. They are a younger version of Henry Fonda & Katherine Hepburn in On Golden Pond. I told them so, and Jim said, "I'm an old grump like he is?" And I said not really, even though I heard him say many Henry Fonda-like things throughout the weekend, like, "Cheese? Where is this cheese I keep hearing about?" at dinnertime & stuff like that. They are incredibly giving people, along with Dave & Sandy Nylander, who also drove us around in their boat. Fun times!!
